For the images for my music magazine, I will be using one male boy around the age of 18-20. I want the male to be quite young as i think having someone in their late teens is more likely to attract the genre of my music magazine which will be Indie music (independent music). I will want to choose the clothes for my model to wear, the clothes that i will want my model to wear will be items like skinny jeans, shirts, leather jackets etc, this is because i see these items of clothing as been iconic to the independent music genre and i think the audience would understand the representation of the indie genre. I will stay away from clothing items such as joggers, trackies, sports hoodies etc as i think this would represent the wrong image for my target audience.
I will not be using any props as i want to take a photo that will just focus on the male that i have chosen to be in my image, however i may use some accessories on the model i choose such as belts, sunglasses, jewelry , bags etc.
For the location of my image i think i will be using my home. This is because when designing my magazine i wanted a cream/grey background which will contrast with the design of my colour scheme and at home i have a background for this that i could use therefore it seemed the right idea to take my still images at my own home.
